A large number of development tests are necessary to verify the behavior of a complete aircraft structure. FADA-CATEC provides a large variety of testing facilities allowing the characterization of materials performance for large components and structures.

The available equipment at CATEC includes an universal testing machine for static and dynamic testing of 4,000kN, and a large variety of actuators up to 630kN.

There are also available digital image correlation systems for measuring strains and displacements (full field 3D records); modal analysis system and drop impact tower.
