Master of Science from Georgia Institute of Technology (funded by prestigious Fulbright grant)  and PhD. from University of Seville. Since 2008 he is at FADA-CATEC, having hold different positions: Head of Department, Head of Division, and currently CTO in Avionics and Systems. During this time he has been principal investigator of more than 50 research projects related to UAS, aerial robots and application of technologies to aeronautical manufacturing processes. Nowadays, he is managing a team of more than 25 people (among engineers and technicians) and he has directly worked in development projects with the main companies of the sector. Moreover, he is leading the SORA Focus Team within the WG-105 at EUROCAE and the SGT1.2 of the RPAS Advisory Committee of AESA (Spanish Civil Aviation Authority). Finally, he is co-author of more than 80 peer review scientific publications and 4 technological patents.
