INDUPYMES 4.0 PROJECT

The “INDUPYMES 4.0: DIGITAL FACTORY FOR INDUSTRIAL SMEs” project aims to help SMEs in the advanced transportation sectors (automotive, naval, aerospace) and their supply chains, such as machining companies and their complementary sectors, integrate into the new concept of the digital factory or Industry 4.0 paradigm.

All of this is achieved through the development of the digital factory concept for these types of companies, through knowledge transfer and the use of existing R&D&I infrastructure in the regions of Andalusia and Alentejo.

DESCRIPTION

The main actions within the framework of the INDUPYMES 4.0 project:

  • Identification of digital transformation needs for SMEs.
  • Creation and exploitation of digital transformation infrastructures.
  • Actions to develop digital innovation in the cross-border area.
  • Measures for developing and maintaining digital transformation in companies.

The project’s development will enhance business participation in innovation processes and R&D&I activities closer to the market in the Andalusia-Alentejo cross-border region.

CONSORTIUM

It is made up of 11 entities, 6 of which belong to Spain and 5 to Portugal:

  • Andalusian Foundation for Aerospace Development (Main Beneficiary).

  • Portuguese Association for the Cluster of Aeronautical Industries, Space and Defense.
  • Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Seville.
  • Center for Excellence and Innovation in the Automotive Industry.
  • Alentejo Science and Technology Park.
  • Ningenia design and automation.
  • Federation of Metal Entrepreneurs.
  • University of Évora.
  • University of Seville.
