PICRAH 4.0

PICRAH 4.0 fosters cross-disciplinary collaboration to operate heterogeneous autonomous robots using AI, cybersecurity, and industrial automation. With a budget of €2,027,520.40 from the AEI (Economic and Industrial Development Agency), it covers the period 2023–2026. It focuses on human-robot cooperation through a smart and secure platform, being tested in industrial environments, particularly railways, to solve maintenance and operation challenges. CATEC contributes its expertise in aerospace and drone technology, researching 5G technology applications, and developing key hardware and firmware for cybersecurity and data and communications reliability in the project.

The consortium, with leaders such as BOSONIT, ELLIOT, 4I, PANOimagen, GRUPO AZVI, and VODAFONE, covers technology, construction, and engineering. Research organizations include CEIT, CATEC, UNIR, the Institute of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence – University of Navarra, and Pablo de Olavide University.
