
IRAIN addresses innovation in water regeneration and the application of artificial intelligence for climate-resilient agriculture. With a budget of €1,753,1578.50 from the AEI (Association of Agricultural Research and Development) and a duration of 36 months, from January 2024 to December 2026, it focuses on the development of advanced water resource management systems combining water regeneration technologies, monitoring, and AI-based intelligent management. CATEC contributes its expertise in aerospace and drone technologies, providing tools for the monitoring and management of water and agricultural resources.
The consortium includes large companies, SMEs, and technology centers, ensuring expertise in water treatment, monitoring, and agronomic knowledge. The members are FACSA, Fundació EURECAT, AIRBUS OPERATIONS S.L., Telespazio Iberica S.L.U., AKIS, GIDITEK, AZUD, SALTÓ, AQUACORP S.L., and CATEC.
