ASSETS+

Alliance for Strategic Skills addressing Emerging Technologies in Defense

The ASSETS+ project is based on two main problems in the European defense industry: difficulties in finding new personnel with the necessary Industry 4.0 skills for the defense sector, and the aging of current personnel working in the industry.

Therefore, the objective of the ASSETs+ project is to contribute to creating and maintaining a pipeline of employees that enables defense sector companies to innovate, attracting highly qualified young workers, and providing adequate training for their employees through customized education and training programs primarily addressing these three technologies: robotics, C4ISTAR, and cybersecurity related to the first two.

ASSETs+ will last four years and is supported by a multidisciplinary consortium of more than 30 entities from countries such as Germany, Belgium, Spain, France, Italy, and Poland.

FADA-CATEC participates as a partner alongside other entities, such as Andalucía Aerospace, Madrid Aerospace Cluster, Navantia, the University of Seville, the Polytechnic University of Madrid, the University of Cádiz, and Carlos III University, at the national level; and Safran Electronics and Defense, SAAB, Rolls-Royce, Airbus Defense & Space, and the University of Pisa, among others, at the international level.

Project funded by the European Erasmus + program.
