Manufacturability Analysis by Focused Energy Deposition of Aluminum Alloys

AEI Call for Proposals: Public-Private Projects 2022 – CPP2022-009946

  • OBJECTIVES: Analysis of the manufacturability of aluminum alloys using DED-LB for the manufacture and hybridization of large, lightweight parts with complex geometry. It includes parameterization of different Al alloys using infrared and blue lasers, as well as an intelligent simulation and monitoring tool.
  • DURATION: 10/01/2023 – 09/30/2026
