Defense

CATEC has significant experience in technological development for Defense, currently participating in various Defense programs from FCAS/NGWS to European R&D projects of the EDF and national (COINCIDENTE).

In addition, CATEC actively participates in several EDA working groups (CAPTECH) and has participated in NATO STO groups.

CATEC’s main technological lines in defense are:

• UAS, drones and autonomous systems (including swarms).
• Automatic detection, identification and classification systems.
• Navigation in GNSS denied environments.
• Advanced aircraft guidance and control.
• Additive manufacturing for advanced components.
• Functionalization of materials for low observability.
• Tests (non-destructive, environmental and structural).
