Our values

CATEC was born in 2008, with the hiring of specialised staff and the implementation of the different departments that structure the centre. During this period, it was established in the provisional offices of the EUROCEEI business centre, and from there it began to design the definitive facilities and infrastructures, to manage and develop the first R&D&I projects and to achieve its qualification as an Advanced Technology Centre.

In June 2010, it was installed in the Andalusia Technology and Aeronautics Park, and from that moment on, the work of setting up the scientific-technological infrastructures intensified, culminating with the official inauguration in January 2011. During this period, the Advanced Centre made a major effort in defining its lines of research, the implementation of R&D&I projects related to these lines, its homologation as a research centre at national and European level and the structuring of the organisation itself, together with the implementation of an Integrated Management System.

At present, CATEC continues to work intensively on the generation of knowledge through the implementation of research and development projects both internally and in collaboration with companies and organisations at regional, national and European level.
